Shark cage diving is an awesome experience from both above and below the surface. Getting close to this most magnificent apex predator leaves you feeling exhilarated to say the least.
The operators we use are committed to being a responsible and eco-friendly operation. They do not interfere with the sharks and they do not pollute the environment.
False Bay is one of the only places in the world that you can consistently dive with over 10 and up to 70 of these ancient looking sharks. Sevengill Sharks are formidable predators of Cape Fur Seals, other species of shark and fish. They can reach lengths of 3m and weight up to 700 pounds.
What adds to the unique experience is that because of their natural curiosity and confidence we don’t use any form of chum or bait to interact with them.
There are a variety of different shark diving options along the South Africa coastline, mostly diving or snorkelling without cages, but in some instances for safety with a cage in the case of the Great White shark diving.
This is one of the only 3 known sites in the World where the diver can interact with one of the top apex predators without a cage, close up and personal.

Blue and mako sharks are arguably two of the most beautiful shark species with colours of blue and silver that stretch beyond your imagination. Dive in to the warm, blue water and experience these awesome sharks of “the deep”.
Schools of yellow and longfin tuna together with sightings of pelagic birds, like albatross, round off this amazing experience. This is another world which every ocean enthusiast should experience at least once in their lifetime.
